I have a spare monitor and a laptop. I want to use these 2. I’ve already bought HDMI2VGA(or VGA2HDMI forgot) adapter cable. I’m already using it.
But it’s not very ergonomic. Ghati dukhne, tauko dukhne, it’s not very ergonomic. Any way I can make it perfectly ergonomic?
Show me your settings.
The setup that works best for me is my monitor is right in front of my eyesight, its top is slightly below my natural eye level so I don’t have to look up. I keep my laptop to my left at the same distance with the monitor. Keeping laptop to my left allows me to easily drag windows and app between laptop and monitor, it feels like a single big screen.
I also use laptop stand and a box to elevate the monitor and laptop so they are at level with my eyesight.
You can go through some online resources for the best setup and try accordingly. You will soon find the best setup that you feel comfortable with.
Great! I’d love your setup short pic or anyone’s else’s. And writeups about how to utilize multiple monitors to the best!
some tips on how to set up dual monitors for ergonomics include:
1. Place the monitors at a comfortable viewing distance.
2. Position the monitors so that the screen is at eye level.
3. Adjust the monitor settings to reduce screen glare.
4. Use a monitor stand or Arm to position the monitors at the correct height.
5. Use a split-screen software application to optimize your work flow.
I think this blog will help you. It has better explanation
