Night ..
BCA might be a decent course for you I guess as it has more projects. But you can take any courses and still work on your personal projects within the four year learning span.
Hope it helps
Engineering naam ko lagi matra jane vaye chai bro I suggest you not to do so. Sure depressed hunxau ani online ayera sabai lai “Engineering bekkar ma leko” vanera galat message failauna thalxau.
Engineering is a really creative subject. It helps develop our problem solving and innovative brain. So testo ma interest xa vane matra jau.
CSIT is not only theory-based, it is theory based if you only depend on college. (Afai practical garne option xa bro, ali mehenat garnu ta parihalyo ni). Its a good subject if you are interested in coding and technology. BCA is almost the same but CSIT has more recognition because BCA is relatively new.
Brother, pahila tmro feasibility study gara, fee structure buja, geography hera so aafu lai comfort hune thau ma kun xa tyahi choose gara. B.Sc csit ko syllabus engineering vanda ramro xa. But CSIT ma mlai man napareko kura tyo ho project 7th ma xa java pani seventh ma xa yi dui tai 3rd fourth sem ma vaidie ramro hunthyo. yo kura ko lagi BCA ra BIT ramro xa project agadi nai hunx. Maile suneko BCA pader abroad tir jaan khassai tyati upayukta hunna re ani BIT chai ahile TU ma testing ko phase ma xa herau product kasto niskinx.
j vae pani vaninx ni khane mukh lai junga le xekdain so project banaun 7th sem nai kurnu parx vanne hudain harek sem ma programming langauges xan tini haru ma sano sano project banaudai jane. Jati kura ko padai csit ma hunx ni tyati kura BCA ra BIT ma xain. paxi research ko lagi pani CSIT best hunx. Ab tmlai engineer nai banna man xa vane enginner mai deu but mlai chai engineernig vanda CSIT ko course dami lagyo. khaas ma CSIT research kai lagi banaeko jasto xa, research bat aaeko kura lai engineer le implement garne ra BCA chai toatally application ma focus xa maile buje anusar. But ma csit ko student vaeko le jati maile csit bujexu tyati aru course bujexain.
ra final ma vaneko jun course lie ni, jun college pade ni last ,a padne vaneko tai youtube ra online content bat ho. Yadi tmi ma passion xa vane course doesn’matter.
I had the same issue, engineering garna man thyo +2 ko result le ekdam disappoint garyo, csit garna man thyo +2 ko physics le nai done vaisakeko the course haru bujdai jada BIT man pareko thiyo explore gardai garda as you mentioned projects haru based rainaxa if you’re planning to join project based course then BCA is ekdam ramro. But idk how but I didn’t even check about BCA course back then. Tespaxi explore garda I came to know about BSc(Hons) Computing which is totally practical based course with 3years degree and international university affiliated. Knowing about this I was totally thrilled and joined the course asap. However I recommend you to check all other course and take wise decision. There’s still some more time for results so you’ll have enough time on doing research. Also I recommend you to check out this video: https://youtu.be/XBDLE0zDNaI
Hope this helps:)
Good day ❤️
dont worry you are not the only one who is confused…
https://askmitra.com/question/which-it-course-is-best-after-2/
https://askmitra.com/question/study-course/
esto questions almost frequent xan askmitra ma…and its good that you are researching before enrolling in any course…but fully stressed out chai hunu vayena…
IT related courses ma best vanekai BscCSIT ani ER. nai ho…scope ni xa vanum i guess (scope ta tei ho job pauna garai xa Nepal…vanna khojeko chai yo courses lida you get priority compared to others)
these two courses have broad syllabus…tara downside vaneko chai can you handle it or not? …also you have to be from Science Stream…
aba aru baki courses like BIM haru chai management le ni padhna pauxan…+ they dwell more on the theory side….
so in the end courses le tetti saro matter garla jasto chai lagdaina malai…if you got skills hai…syllabus tei puranai ho…sikaune tei basics ho….better huna lai padhne ani skills gain garne afai ho external sources bata…so choose wisely…kun course lida you wont burn yourself out + manage time to learn on your own
FYI i am doing BBA while studying sakesamma sabai about IT on my own…using available free resources on the internet
p.s
yo vannu ko artha choose BBA vaneko chai haina hai…
Goodluck
We went through the same phase brother and can understand your concern but the thing here is not what you wanna choose. It seems like you are afraid of failing or wasting your time after you choose your course.
Best case for you here is to choose a course and college that is near to your home so that you can save up some time and use that time to develop your skills. After all your plan is to either be CyberSecurity Expert or Developer, so you should be focusing on your skills more rather than for choosing a course. Watch youtube videos and research topics that you are interested, trust me it will help you more than just your course.
As for me I am studying BCA and I am extremely happy that I choose this course. The time saved is huge in this course due to fewer assignments and easier subjects (might depend from person to person but being from Science faulty BCA was fairly easy) and I am able to spend a lot of time learning new things.
At the end if you want to go for some Er. or any other status that is completely upto you mate but you should be able to work on you said role like developer or security expert with or without that status.
Just like you said you have interest on everything, which is not possible.
If you want that Er on you name go for Engineering and you will also found out which filed of IT is best suited for you once you start Bachelor (Most of my friends are studying IT and they are still in dilemma what shall they actually pursue in future).
Course is not the main thing here in IT, skills matters the most. Even if you are Er. Dhungana and University topper but you can’t give answer to problems which is not written in your copy and mind that study is not a good one. Developing skills is one of the most important thing. Start learning new things from Udemy, Youtube, W3schools, etc. you said you don’t understand from YouTube and stuffs that maybe because you are only watching the video and not actually doing it by yourself, practicing and doing it yourself will help you learn better.
If you understand Hindi I do recommend CodeWithHarry in youtube, he gives great examples.
For your interest you want to be CyberSecurity, Web Developer and Software Developer, I think you can actually pursue for Cyber Security and Web Development because Cyber Security skills with web development will actually make you one of the best web developer as you are prone to make less mistakes.
