Notes are very important if you are kind of guy who makes notes by learning deeply.
How do you preserve them? The questioner in that post lost his notes. I can understand how bad that hits when you lose your notes that you put effort to write for probably ~100 hrs of learning.
Are there any places in kathmandu/bhaktapur/lalitpur where you can get your physical notes scanned for affordable rates? Like 50 Rupees per each note or sth?
Problems of scanning via camscanner-:
- There are a lot of them. Time consuming
- No guarantee that the quality of each pdf would be great. My smartphone isn’t great either. It’ll take intense care to scan all of them by myself.
If it’s affordable elsewhere, why waste time on it? Better learn sth else in that time.
You can back up those notes in google photos or google drive or other cloud storage services.
hmm yeah, i’m planning that. my camera isn’t good and it’s too much effort for me. so i want to do it in pasal if that’s affordable.
making a digital copy of hand written notes is not a easy job…(both time and money aspect ma expensive)
so simple and easy way is dedicated place xuttaune afno ghar ma that is both humidity and dust free…notes padhnu paryo vane tei baserw padhne …padhepaxi tehi nai rakhne…(basically euta library le j j methods use garxa book preserve garna tei follow garne)
The thing is I’ll be destroyed if these notes disappear, because I’ve put too much effort in learning these concepts. I’ll be devastated if they get lost. I don’t have good smartphone with good camera. So, I’m trying to find scanners. But you’re right. Digitizing is expensive. Any cheap ways would be great. I don’t have such space and I’m just putting all of them in a cartoon.
I take their photos and make pdf of them.
Upload pdfs to drive and even sale these pdfs to my friends and who needs it
how’s your smartphone quality? Mine isn’t cheap it costed me 32K for this phone but camera is garbage.
Mine camera quality is also not enough but can be text can be seen. You can also use Google lens to scan and convert in text and then copy the text and paste it in pdf and upload to drive or other platform
Simply i have saved notes(PDF, Image Files) in my PC folders and also have a backup in cloud storage like google drive, mega drive etc etc..
how did you scanned it? afaile? tetro pages kasari scan garxau?
nope ma notes nai lekhdina imp imp haru research garera chai save garxu copy ma lekhne kam ahile samma gareko xaina note vanera😂
Well the best way of preserving the notes is by actually taking care of it. Just keeping it in proper place after you read it and not taking it anywhere can basically help.
The other way is of course by scanning it but it might get a bit costlier if you have lot of pages.

Alternatively you can make the notes in digital form rather than writing it, that should without a question take care of it. Also why waste so much energy on writing notes and scanning it when you can just make it digitally.
digital notes doesn’t work for Nepalese people because we aren’t used to practice it. Plus we don’t have resources (digital pen) to create handwritten digital notes. Typed notes are the worst. I used to write notes in Joplin, You don’t learn anything. Paper ma lekhnai parxa ekchoti to make your mind clear, so why waste time typing it in laptop?
How much would it cost for scanning? I haven’t written much notes but for around 10 subjects, I might have 1000+ page note.
Well usually hamro tira ta per page ko NPR 5 linxa, but considering so many pages the shopkeeper might do it for less but can’t be sure tho.
Your best case here is out go to few stores and ask them and compare between them.
You can actually takecare of notes which i practice myself, I have stored my note copys on boxes.
Once I tried making Digital Copys of it which is so frustrating and time wasting I recommend you to search for cheatsheets and other notes too in internet which are very helpful.
Otherwise you can ask any local shops for scanning your notes.
tei ta bro. 1 subject’s note can go upto 500 pages, if we start clicking each of them, we’d go psycho. Plus u need to arrange the pics as well properly. Rotate hunxa, ghari k hunxa, tension. So, I’m seeking for a shop that’s affordable. Which I don’t think exists lol.
Let me make you clear cut then just store in your room or somewhere else in your house.
Just dont waste money and time in scanning.
umm aile cartoon ma store gariraxu but i’d be devastated totally and probably depressed seriously if i lost these notes, because i’ve spent some real effort in this instead of memorizing and copying what’s available in 1 place.
I simply make pdfs and create a directory into GoogleDrive and upload all my notes and other stuffs.
yes i’m asking how do you create pdfs? do you scan them yourselves? i’ve like 500 pages/subject and have around 10 subjects notes. it’d be tedious.
Dherai notes haru cha bhane chai Photo khichera drive ma halda halda time dherai waste huncha.
Baru daraz ki kunai euta drawer notes haru matra rakne gari chuttyaunu. Ani jhanjat garnu ko satta ma testai ma rakhnu.
If notes haru thorai ani khichna Milne khalko cha bhane chai maile use garne trick bhanchu. Camscanner download garne ani sabai khichera pdf banaune majale (flash on garera khichnubhayo bhane clear aaucha). Ani euta notes ko lagi matra bhanera Gmail account banaune (notes ko lagi matra) ani tesko drive ma store garne.
Tara imo, digitally store garya notes pachi herna Majja aaudaina, physical notes are far better. (Just my opinion)
