How can I do numericals

I used to have the same problem with chemistry numerical until the final exam. But had to overcome it anyhow. You see that the numerical of physical chemistry are somehow limited and quite interrelated with one another. What I suggest you do is write down all the formulas of each chapter on paper and keep it in front of you. You will always have that demotivation until you don’t start. Just look at the already solved problem thoroughly and try analyzing it. Now, solve the same problem yourself.

The most important thing is practice and consistency. Start with a very simple or the simplest question. This will encourage you to do more and boost your confidence. And just do it for maybe 1hr or 2 in a day or even less when you start.

As a beginner, if you get stuck anywhere, there are plenty of resources you can use for solving by yourself. Try to surf the internet or ask any friends of yours. But if you can’t solve it by maybe 10-20mins, stop your pen there, circle the question, and move to the next one. Trying to solve the same problem will make you exhausted. Don’t simply waste your energy and confidence. Just go to the teacher the next day and ask for their help.

For physic, you may not have to get yourself another book for numerical until you complete all of those from Ayam’s Physic book. They genuinely have the best question sets whether it is MCQs, short questions, numerical or long questions.

By the end of the year, you will have a completely compiled file of all the formulas of all the chapters separately, that you have written yourself and you know when to use it appropriately. This is what I recommend you to do. Make yourself a file of formulas for any subject(especially physic and chemistry). Although they are already in your book, just write them down. Writing is the best way of learning.
