Help!

Long story short, I have been dealing with some weird problem which while googling turned out to be the symptoms of anxiety attacks. It started few years ago, and this thing was just occasional but now its frequent. My hands shivers like crazy and I feel difficulty in breathing. Sometimes, it feels like I am running out of breathe. Talking about the recent incident, few days back I had my hand shiver continuously for hours and all I could do was cry helplessly unless I fall asleep. Next morning, it was all fine though. So yes, before this things eats me up, I really want to get some help. And the sad part is I am not having enough courage to share this thing with my parents. Idk where and how to start about this and ik hearing this side of my life would break them down. So, I really dont have courage but it’s really being tough these days. What do I do? Help😭

      well the symtoms are similar to anxiety disorder…but not a medical professional….my advice is that you should seek out help from medical professionals or medical consultants…you opened up here and it is very courageous and commendable of you but no matter how tough it is you should share it with your family (you would wanna know if it happened to anybody else in the family right? same goes for them too)

      now for some common and helpful tips to cope with it:

      • be physically active

      helps to get your mind off of things that would usually trigger your anxeity and stress

      • avoid nicotine/smoking/drinking alcohol(if you do)

      also try cutting back on caffeine intake(coffee coke etc)

      • use stress management techniques

      something like yoga, meditation, doodling, sketching anything that keeps you calm

      • keep track of your triggers

      what causes it how often it happens how long it lasts everything . you can make a journal if you want

      • lastly, the most important one SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE AND SHARE WITH FAMILY

      they can help you to cope and support you in times of need. Doctors can identify the severity and provide medical help accordingly.

      motivation and self help to cure mental health disorders is like a single person trying to act like a dam. seeking help from doctors is like building a strong dam. you should visit doctors. ofc your first doctor won’t cure you. also don’t lie anything to your parents, it’ll just delay your curing. and mental health problem like yours can easily get cured,  it’s just chemical imbalance. extreme mental health diseases like ocd, anxiety are easy to cure than others.
